McKenzie McGuffee, MS, LMFT

McKenzie believes that the messages people hear about themselves and their relationships (e.g., “you’re not good enough”) influence how they interact with themselves, others, and their environments. Over time, these messages become stories that strongly influence quality of life, whether for good or bad. McKenzie firmly believes that all people are capable of unlearning harmful stories and creating ones that are more enriched and hopeful. As such, her therapeutic approach is collaborative—the clients are the experts of their own lives; she simply hopes to be a co-author in creating more desired stories, whatever that might look like.

McKenzie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Pre-Counseling and Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma Baptist University. She is passionate about working with teenagers and their parents/guardians, but also has experience working with individuals, couples, and families who have struggled with a variety of presenting problems.

McKenzie is currently accepting private pay.
